Are you choosing from multiple job offers and feeling uncertain about which direction to take? If not now, it could be a real possibility in the future.
In fact, I recently worked with a client facing this dilemma.
Let me share an exercise with you that helped him decide.
My client, a single dad raising his 10-year-old daughter, had been laid off twice in the past two years.
The stakes were high for him, as he had to consider his own future and provide for his child.
He had two job offers on the table: one from a stable biotechnology firm and another from an exciting startup that offered a higher salary and the chance to wear many hats.
I introduced him to the “Hierarchy of Criteria.”
This is an exercise with roots in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). It can be a very powerful tool when faced with difficult decisions like these.
If you’re facing a similar crossroads, I invite you to watch my video where I explain this exercise in more detail.
Choosing from Multiple Job Offers?
Bottom line: Don’t rush into a career decision based solely on superficial factors like salary or location.
Take the time to understand your core values, and you’ll find greater satisfaction in your chosen path.
